What is political Nihilism? Political nihilism is the belief that all governing bodies are evil and should not be in placed. People that are political nihilists believe that the government is a just a body that justifies violence to have control of people. This can usually be associated with extreme libertarians or anarchists because of the belief that the government has no right to govern. They also believe that the destruction political, social and religious order is prerequisite for any further improvement for the society. Meaning that any type of establishment must be destroyed, so for example Christianity is a established religion they believe that the whole concept and religion has to be destroyed to create improvement in a people.
Political nihilism can also be associated with anarchism but they are not the same thing. Anarchists believe in state of disorder because they believe in their own moral codes and in a voluntary community hierarchy. Compared to the political nihilist who believes there is no such meaning in the political system and that it is just useless. Also, the nihilist usually sees no meaning in anything so having a moral code does not appeal to the political nihilist. Also, the political nihilist sees no government as good so even having a voluntary community hierarchy would be against their belief system. Political nihilism in the end is a belief that no government is good and that to make any improvement at all the political, social and religious order must be destroyed.
